For example, if you search for "baseball", pages that are about the sport will score highly for quality anchor text, while pages that are dictionaries or spun articles will score lowly. It's worth checking out the whole site that is linking to you, making sure that it is relevant to your content and appears to have been written coherently.
- The page rank – the rank of the page that links to your site is calculated by its popularity and quality of content. Each time someone clicks on the site, the rank goes up, and you'll get a better quality of link from higher ranked pages. In terms of being picky, it's better to be one of a few links from a great page than one of hundreds from an SEO page.
