Good backlinks and No content can work for me ?

I need to promote a product as an Affiliate. Now affiliate reviews/pages/sites are generally just 1 page with 1 page of solid content. Rest pages are blank. Can I still rank for a high competition keyword with many good backlinks and no more content ? Please suggest.

Sorry, but it doesn't work that way. You may get ranked for a very low competition keyword but the chances of you staying high in the SERPs for long is about as likely as getting struck by lightning.
